Kappa Oil sh.a. was established in 1992, by its present President Dr. Krenar Lasko, as the first trading company of lubricants and car accessories to ever operate in Albania.
Through the passion and the hard work put to it, from a modest com- pany, it soon grew into a fully developed manufacturer of lubricant oil, offering high quality products, starting from passenger cars lubricants, to heavy duty, agricultural and industrial ones, expanding its range of operation by producing chemicals, additives, greases, antifreeze etc. The products are traded under our main brand Kappa Oil and more than 20 other private label brands offered to our clients.
The company is involved in importing,manufacturing and trading of an wide range of high quality lubricants for passenger cars,light&heavy duty trucks, agricultural machineries, mining and road construction equipments, industrial machineries etc. Also the company trades filters, batteries and other accessories for vehicles.The company over the years has created an efficient marketing networks which meets all national territory including rural districts, thus, it soon archived a privileged position among the main importers and distributors in domestic lubricant market, being the leading company in the market.
Today, Kappa Oil achieves 46% of total market share in domestic mar- ket, which places us in a leading position among other companies in the area, covering not only the local territory through distributors and sales agents, but now exporting in more than 20 countries mostly in Europe, but also Middle East,Asia and North Africa as :Italy, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic ,Kosovo, Montenegro, Macedonia, Serbia, Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, , Poland, Lithuania, Germany, France, Ireland, UK, Morocco, Libya, Egypt, Lebanon and Georgia.
Our constant customer focus led us in continuously improving our service, technology, and management, to match the growing needs for better quality on the market. We have so far obtained the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 28000:2007, BS OHSAS 18001:2007 certifications and approvals from well-known OEM manufacturres.
We are suppliers of some very important public enterprises such as Interior Ministry, Defence Ministry, Power Stations, Albanian Post, Railways, Seaports, Albpetrol, Albanian Refinery etc.
One of our priorities recent years has been the introduction and expansion in the international market. The company’s fast growth in exports testifies to its responsiveness and the adaptability of the production set-up to meet technical constraints in foreign markets.Currently we are present with our products in Italy, Slovenia ,Belgium, France, Greece, Kosovo, Macedonia, etc. But in meantime having in focus enlargement of the sales network to other countries, especiallyin Western Europe, North Africa and Middle East countries.
